Young embarked on a Musical expedition with hiphop/electronica trio, Psykes. He soon set out onto a journey on his own letting his LOVE, SOUL and DESIRE be the driving force and these 3 elements are what that kept him moving. Hailing from sunny Singapore, many have said that Music isn't really a wise option for a career. However, Young believes that Music or Hiphop is not a popularity contest and making it big is not a priority but instead being heard and sharing beautiful music with the masses.

X'sylum


X'Sylum is made up of Irfan Ilohshix (aka The Alien Tongue) and Elfie Prima Putra (aka Sick Boy) who are up and coming solo emcees in their own right within the SGHipHop scene.

Irfan Ilohshix is The.XS Collective’s youngest talent who has developed a refined story telling rap ability filled with descriptive mental imageries.Elfie Prima Putra is an underated emcee who is able to adapt to any kind of music with a rhyme style that's hard to define.

X'Sylum represents an ill-minded combination of "str8 jacket" rhyming lunacy through a raw mixture of "shaolin-styled" horrorcore battle hymms and narratives intertwined with psychedelic eccentricity. The asylumic style of X'Sylum is also vividly apparent in their production style preference which ranges from backdrops of grimey-samplesque beats to trippy electronica sounds.

House of flying daggers is a new single by the infamous Wu Tang clan. Check out this video, staying true to Wu tang's martial arts stances and deep, gritty background portraying Staten Island.

The Wu-Tang Clan is a New York City-based hip hop group. Wu-Tang Clan consists of 9 American rappers: RZA, GZA, Raekwon, U-God, Ghostface Killah, Inspectah Deck, Method Man, Masta Killa and Ol' Dirty Bastard (who is now deceased.) They were formed in the New York City borough of Staten Island though some of its members originate from Brooklyn.

One of the most influential and successful hip hop groups of all time, Wu-Tang Clan rose to fame with their uncompromising brand of hardcore rap music, and their success enabled all 9 Wu-Tang members to pursue solo careers, with varying degrees of success. They have introduced or launched the careers of numerous other affiliated artists and groups, often collectively known as the Wu-Tang Killa Bees.

Will's Invasion was formed back in 2003. With a total strength of only 2 people, the crew had already been recognized as Best Upcoming Crew in 2004 (SINGAPORE STREET FESTIVAL) in their 2nd competition they took part in and since 2007, became the Rap Ambassadors for the Singapore Street Festival.

Risen over the years winning competitions and recognized through performances in local & government body events National Day Parade 2006/2007(Fringe Celebration), 117th International Olympic Conference, Jom Heboh (Malaysia), Gangstarz Tv3 (Malaysia), Ministry Of Sound- Hiphop Sho Down MC Battle, 987fm Rap Battle Competition (1st Prize), Nike 100k Marathon, and was featured in Mediacorp Suria TGIF (Thank God It’s Friday) show.

The group has also been involved in the success of several communities, school & government bodied events as part of the planning committee, advisors or/and as a performer.

Nizmatic Jin also recently clinched the Best Song for 2009 awarded by Singapore Noise Festival for his hit Single “Putcha Flags On” that has the local scene tuning in. The song was on the 987fm top 10 local charts for 4 months in a row!

The Seventh Seal is the third solo studio album by rapper Rakim. The album is currently set for a fall 2009 release. The album's first single, "Holy Are You", was released on his MySpace page on July 14, 2009. It was made available on iTunes July 28th.



"The number 7 has a lot of significance. The 7th letter of the alphabet is G -- that stands for God. There are 7 continents, 7 seas. The 'Seventh Seal' deals with that and also some revelations in the Bible," said Rakim to Billboard. "Some call it the end of the world, but for me it's the end of the old and the beginning of the new. By me naming my album that, I'm using it metaphorically in hip-hop. I'm hoping to kill the old state of hip-hop and start with the new." - Rakim
